Panoramic of Innsbruck

Ryan and I went up to the top of a mountain today! I put together this panoramic image and we just had to post it right away for everyone to see. Will blog more later....

  1. Hi Ryan and Allie. I'm Judi's friend from the cathe.com and have been enjoying your blog. I am loving your Innsbruck pictures. I was there in 1992 and it was one of my favorite places. It's so beautiful. We took a cable car and then a ski lift up to the top of one of the mountains in Innsbruck and I still remember the views. Thanks for posting these pictures so that I can relive my memories. Safe travels.

  2. Thanks for following Karin and Wendy! Yes Innsbruck is beautiful. We took the cable car today all the way to the top of one of the peaks. We didn't understand the concept of the mountains being so high up that it is cold and rainy....we have learned our lesson and will dress better next time! More pictures on my Facebook, Allison Galland

  5. This is Ryan...
I hope Allie can learn to like German food and bier too. She is doing her best, and actually did order a bier once. Although it was a bier with sprite it is a step closer to the real good stuff. Glad to see you enjoy our blog!

  6. WOW...that panoramic photo is amazing! I can't get over how beautiful it is but now understand why they filmed The Sound of Music there. It looks like the weather cleared up for you as I see some blue sky.

I'm sorry we missed your call today. We should be around all weekend except for a few hours tomorrow between 2-5 for the bridal shower.

Guess what?! I've been researching Germany trips for next summer! All your pics and postings have me really interested in going there. You'll have to give us some advice on where to go and what to see. I know I want to go to the Hofbrauhaus for sure!!

    Love- Mutter

  9. Can you please tell me what a typical Austrian/German breakfast is like? Very curious!

  10. Wendy- See next post ^^^^ about breakfast. For some odd reason, I thought breakfast would be lots of pastries. Probably from when my dad was there and said he spent a lot of time in the bakeries! LOL!

  11. The bread is awesome in Germany and Austria. They are known for their bakery goods.

  12. Wait till you get to Paris... there you'll see who's know for their pastries. Germans definitely for beer and brats. Did you see any of the autobahn? (German version of the US interstate with no speed limit) Just got back from weekend up on the lake. I didn't have internet access. Back and enjoying catching up on your blog. Love Dad
